The Global Coffee Collection is a whole bean tour through six single origins and the full roast spectrum, from light to dark. Each 300g bag is roasted specifically to bring out that origin's defining character — a light roast Ethiopian natural bursting with blueberry, a dark roast Harrar built for bold intensity, and four more origins spanning the range in between. This is the bundle for genuinely exploring what coffee can taste like: same care, same roastery, six completely different experiences.

How to taste through the collection +
Brew all six the same way — same ratio, same grind, same method — and the differences you taste come entirely from origin and roast level, not brewing variables. Pour-over or drip works well across the whole set.
Suggested tasting order: start with the Aricha (light roast) to calibrate your palate to brightness and fruit, move through the Kenya AA and Campos Altos (medium), then Huila and Peru (medium-dark) for body and sweetness, and finish on the Harrar (dark) for full intensity. Tasting light to dark, rather than the reverse, keeps your palate from being overwhelmed too early.
Each bag also stands on its own for daily brewing — grind fresh, brew your usual way, and each origin's character will still come through clearly.
About this collection +
Coffee flavour is shaped by two things at once: where the bean comes from, and how it is roasted. Most tasting sets only vary one of those — a handful of origins all roasted the same way, or one origin roasted several ways. The Global Coffee Collection varies both simultaneously, which is a genuinely different way to learn what is actually happening in your cup. You will taste an Ethiopian natural at its brightest (light roast Aricha) right alongside an Ethiopian natural at its boldest (dark roast Harrar) — same country, same processing style, completely different result because of roast level alone.
Every bag is roasted fresh to order in our Scarborough roastery. Whether you are new to single origin coffee and want a genuine introduction, or you already have favourites and want to fill in the gaps in your tasting experience, this collection is built to be brewed through slowly, one bag at a time.

Frequently asked questions +
Is this a good gift for someone who loves coffee?
Yes — this is our most versatile gift option because it does not assume the recipient's taste. Whether they usually drink light and bright or bold and dark, one of the six bags will be exactly their style, and the other five are an invitation to try something new. All six are roasted fresh to order and clearly labelled by origin and roast level.
Why does the same country appear twice with different roast levels?
Ethiopia appears as both the light roast Aricha and the dark roast Harrar deliberately — it is the clearest way to demonstrate how much roast level alone changes a cup, independent of origin. Both are naturally processed Ethiopian coffees, and tasting them side by side shows just how far a roaster can push the same style of green coffee in different directions.
Do I need different brewing equipment for the different roast levels?
No — a single pour-over, drip machine, or French press handles the whole range well. Light roasts benefit from slightly hotter water and a touch more time to extract fully, while dark roasts are more forgiving and extract quickly. If you want to fine-tune, brew the lighter bags a little hotter and the darker bags a little cooler, but it is not required to enjoy any of them.
How fresh is the coffee and how should I store it?
Every bag is roasted fresh to order in our Scarborough roastery and shipped within days of roasting. Store sealed bags in a cool, dark place and open one bag at a time — whole beans hold peak flavour for 4 to 6 weeks after opening. Grind immediately before brewing for the best result on every origin in the set.
